What is Nemours SeniorCare?
Eligible seniors can receive no- or low-cost vision, hearing, and dental senior care services and products.
Who is eligible?
Delaware residents who are 65 and older and living on a fixed income.
What are the annual income ceilings to be considered low-income?
Single = $23,800; Married = $36,600 regardless of spousal eligibility.
What proof of eligibility is required?
Proof of age, residency, and income are required. You'll need documentation to establish your proof of eligibility. Learn about enrollment
How do I enroll?
You will schedule an appointment for enrollment to review your proof of age, residence, and income. Apply for our senior care services
What happens after I enroll?
Once approved, you will receive your Nemours SeniorCare identification card. You are now eligible for any and all of our senior care services and products.
How long is the identification card valid?
Your identification card is good for one year from the date issued. Eligibility is determined and renewed annually.
Where are your senior care facilities located?
Nemours SeniorCare has two locations in Delaware: 1801 Rockland Road, in Wilmington; and 101 Wellness Way, in Milford. Learn more
What type of medical personnel will treat me?
The Nemours SeniorCare doctors are licensed in dentistry, optometry, and ophthalmology. Our technicians and practitioners at our senior care facilities are also licensed and/or certified in their specialties.
What does the dental program include?
We provide dental exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy — and full and partial dentures and related repairs. See more about dental
What does the vision program include?
Nemours SeniorCare includes eye exams, follow-up visits and referrals to ophthalmologists. Additionally, an in-house optical section is available for new eyeglass frames. Learn more about our vision program
